Thunbergia occurs as genus of flowering plants in the Family Acanthaceae, native to tropical regions of Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia. Its members come known by various list, including thunbergias; clockvine in its have commonly refers to Thunbergia grandiflora, when Thunbergia alata is typically referred to as Black-eyed Susan vine or even simply Black-eyed Susan (does'nt to exist as confused by having more flowers known as Black-eyed Susan).

Thunbergias come vigorous annual or even perennial vines and shrubs growing to 2-8 m tall.

Occasionally come frequent garden escapes, becoming invasive species; they are look upon environmental threats around Australia, for example.
